Devona A. Reynolds Perez Appointed to Serve on the Consumer Protection Law Committee for The Florida Bar

MIAMI – Murray Law, P.A. is pleased to announce that Devona Alicia Reynolds Perez has been appointed to serve on the Consumer Protection Law Committee for The Florida Bar. The Consumer Protection Law Committee is dedicated to educating consumers and Bar members on all consumer protection laws and current issues through such means as public outreach events, public service messages, CLE programs, consumer publications, non-partisan technical assistance memoranda on proposed legislation, and providing expert resources to The Florida Bar, the Judiciary, and the Legislature.
Her three year term which commences on July 1st of this year will afford Mrs. Reynolds Perez many opportunities to affect and impact the Florida legal community through public outreach events, service messages, consumer publications and other associated outlets that connect with The Florida Bar, the judiciary and the Legislature.
Mrs. Reynolds Perez focuses her practice on franchises, small businesses as well as entrepreneurs. She has extensive experience advising franchisor clients on franchise sales compliance issues, drafting and preparing franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements as well as franchise sales and disclosure compliance programs. She has served as outside legal counsel for a number of franchisors, multi-unit restaurant franchisees, area developers, franchisee associations, as well as small to medium sized businesses.
Devona Reynolds Perez received her B.B.A. from the University of Miami in 2004 and received her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2008.
