Devona A. Reynolds Perez Recognized as “Miami’s 40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow” for 2016

MIAMI – Devona A. Reynolds Perez, Of Counsel at Murray Law, P.A., has been selected by Legacy Magazine as one of “Miami’s 40 Under 40 Black Leaders of Today and Tomorrow” for 2016. Legacy’s honorees were nominated by their peers, then vetted and chosen by a distinguished and highly accomplished Selection Committee, comprised of 40 Under 40 alumni.
Established in 2004, Legacy, through distribution partnerships with the Miami Herald and Sun Sentinel Newspapers, has a combined readership of over two million and publishes bi-monthly. Legacy is a news/business publication providing Florida’s Black professional community with insightful articles and information on business, careers, politics, lifestyle, education, religion, culture and social commentary.
Mrs. Reynolds Perez focuses her practice on franchises as well as emerging businesses. She has extensive experience advising franchisor clients on franchise sales compliance issues, drafting and preparing franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements as well as franchise sales and disclosure compliance programs. Mrs. Reynolds Perez also has experience defending employers and businesses against FLSA actions, Title VII discrimination claims and ADA accommodation actions. She also provides counsel to her clients on employment policies, practices and related matters. She has served as counsel for a number of franchisors, developers, franchisee associations, as well as other businesses in a number of different industries.
Devona Reynolds Perez received her B.B.A. from University of Miami and her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University. She is currently the President-Elect of the Caribbean Bar Association. She has been selected as a Super Lawyers® Rising Star for 2015 and 2016 and was recently selected into Class IV of the Wm. Reece Smith. Jr. Florida Bar Leadership Academy.
