MIAMI – We are pleased to announce that Jason M. Murray, has been selected as a “Legal Eagle” by Franchise Times® magazine for a 10th consecutive year.
Only a select group of franchise attorneys in the United States and Canada are fortunate enough to be listed as Legal Eagles, with 233 selected for the honor in 2020. Honorees must be nominated by peers or clients and then selected by the Franchise Times® editorial panel. Selection criteria include knowledge, abilities, thoroughness and “going the extra mile for clients.” The Franchise Times® Legal Eagles List honors lawyers that have a comprehensive knowledge of franchising and “understand the nuances of this unique business model at a deep level.” Legal Eagles are recognized as the best lawyers in franchising.
Additionally, Murray is one of seven lawyers from the United States and Canada inducted into the prestigious Legal Eagles Hall of Fame. The publication’s Hall of Fame recognizes those members of the franchise legal community who have been named to the Legal Eagles List for 10 consecutive years. The 2020 Legal Eagles Hall of Fame class joined the ranks of the best of the best franchise attorneys in the industry.
Murray practices in the area of franchise and distribution law and provides counsel and assistance with creating, managing, licensing, protecting and enforcing franchised business relationships, product distribution systems and dealership networks. His franchise and distribution law practice specifically relates to licensing and development, regulation and compliance, and dispute resolution through mediation, arbitration and litigation. Murray’s litigation experience consists of general commercial litigation in state and federal courts, including franchise and distribution law, intellectual property, and real property matters.
Jason Murray received his B.A. from Duke University in 1988 and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1991.
