Jason M. Murray Named Fellow of American Bar Foundation

Miami, Florida - Murray Law, P.A. is pleased to announce that the firm’s President & CEO, Jason M. Murray, has been named a member of The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). The Fellows of the ABF is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, and law professors whose professional, public, and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession.

Established in 1955, The Fellows encourages and supports the research program of the ABF. Membership in The Fellows is limited to one-third of one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Members are nominated by The Fellows in their jurisdiction and elected by the ABF board.

Murray practices in the area of franchise and distribution law and provides counsel and assistance with creating, managing, licensing, protecting, and enforcing franchised business relationships, product distribution systems, and dealership networks. His franchise and distribution law practice specifically relates to licensing and development, regulation, and compliance, and dispute resolution through mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Murray's litigation experience consists of general commercial litigation in state and federal courts, including franchise and distribution law, intellectual property, and real property.

He received his B.A. from Duke University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Established in 1952, the ABF is an independent, nonprofit national research institute committed to objective empirical research on law and legal institutions. The ABF is the preeminent resource for lawyers, scholars, and policy makers who seek insightful analyses of the theory and functioning of law, legal institutions and the legal profession. The ABF's work is supported by the American Bar Endowment, by The Fellows of the ABF, and by grants for particular research projects from private foundations and government agencies.
